This confined space rescue system is available with either a 7 or 9 ft. tripod equipped with a 50 Series 3-way unit can that can function as a self-retracting lifeline or be used for rescue or retrieval. If a worker slip or fall, the unit will lock, arresting the fall. The system can then be activated into winch mode, raising or lowering the worker to safety. The unit has a friction brake that prevents the crank handle from free-wheeling while under a load. Unit features a rugged, lightweight cast aluminum housing and 50 ft. of galvanized cable. A mounting bracket is included for a tripod or davit system, along with a #45 split pulley, and carabiner for attaching the lifeline to the tripod. Tripods are designed to withstand 5000 lbs of vertical load, yet are lightweight and portable, offering single person setup that is quick and easy. Other features include adjustable/locking aluminum legs, safety chain, non-slip rubber safety shoes, and two attachment points on the steel head.
